This week's giveaway is related to an upcoming holiday - Mother's Day. When I think of Mother's Day, a few things come to mind - being pampered, flowers, a nice brunch, sweets, being pampered, breakfast in bed, being PAMPERED - oh did I say that a few times already?!? Anyways, how about a nice Spa Pedicure?

It's open toe shoe season ladies! I don't know about you all, but I was really embarrassed to show my feet after this long winter season. My feet needed some TLC. Well, I recently treated myself to one at a local place - Adam Cole Salon and Spa. I LOVE that place. My feet felt so much better after my pedicure. Plus, my toe nails look very pretty sporting the pink color I chose! Thanks for the great job, Carla!

On another note related to Adam Cole Salon and Spa - I must give a shout out to Jeremy who is my hairstylist there. He is the BEST! I used to have long boring hair and needed a change this past summer. I went to Jeremy based on many recommendations from friends. He definitely exceeded my expectations. My hair went from blah to stylish! On the morning of my most recent cut, a friend noticed and could not stop talking about how great my hair looked. All because of Jeremy and Adam Cole Salon and Spa. I have also heard many wonderful things about the other hairstylists there like Shannon.

So, if you are in need of a haircut or other spa services, I highly recommened Adam Cole Salon and Spa. They are located at 129 Moses Thompson Lane (across from Damon's) in State College, PA. To make an appointment, call 814 237-1237.

Next Weekend, April 30 and May 1, I hope to participate in the YMCA of Centre County's ZumbaThon. All proceeds will benefit the Strong Kids Campaign. I LOVE Zumba! It's such a FUN workout! I take a Zumba class at the YMCA twice a week. When I heard about the ZumbaThon I thought "this is a great idea -something fun that's excercise and it's for a good cause."
