Wegmans will be celebrating Earth Day on April 24, 2010. One of the promos is - Bring in a bag of tightly packed Wegmans plastic bags to recycle and get one of their beautiful reusable bags FREE!

I did see a sign advertising this at our  local Wegmans yesterday. Earth Day activities occurring all over the store will include sharing stories about how Wegmans and their suppliers are helping to reduce, reuse, and recycle resources.  All the fun will occur from 11AM to 3PM.

REMINDER: At Wegmans, shop with your Reusable Bag during April and get a different coupon every week! This week's coupon is advertised (via my email from them) to be "Save $1 on Greeting Cards." But, when I was there this morning I got the same $1 off any Organic Meat Item coupon from last week. I asked the employees at the Customer Service desk about this and they weren't aware of any other coupons available except the "$1 off any Organic Meat." I'm thinking the State College store has not received the "$1 off Greeting Cards" coupon yet. Let us know what coupon you get this week!

Note: Shoppers receive one coupon per visit.  So, if you go multiple times in a week, (and I know some of you do - HA!), then you'll get the coupon again as long as you use a reusable bag when shopping.

I wrote a post 2 weeks ago about Hormel Natural Choice Sandwich Deli Meat. Read about it HERE. You can now get this coupon on-line along with other Hormel coupons. Go on over HERE for the coupons. You need to be a registered member to print the coupons.

I am so excited to be getting more of these coupons. It's a $0.55 off coupon which means I'll save $1.10 (after doubling) on my preferred deli meat! Wegmans still has this on sale for 2.99 (normally $3.39). You pay only $1.49 for deli meat that has zero preservatives, no artificial colors/flavors, and no added nitrites/nitrates. I am saving over 56%!!! This is an awesome deal for me!

Some of you have expressed an interest in more Baking coupons. Well, I found another good one. RedPlum.com has a .40 off “Any one (1) Domino Product 2lbs or larger.” Expiration date will be one month after you print. You should be able to print 2. Interested...click here.

I know Wegmans has the better price on the 2lb bags or boxes of Domino sugar. I'm talking about Light Brown Sugar, Dark Brown Sugar, or Confectioners Sugar. They cost $1.69 for a 2lb bag/box. . (It cost $1.95 at Giant for the 2lb  bags of sugar). Unfortunately, they do not have Granulated Sugar in 2lb. Only 4lb or 5lb.

I found out through the Wegmans website the Goldfish crackers are on sale for $1.50 until 2/13. The normal price is $1.99. Remember the .75 coupon doubles saving you $1.50.
