Couponing for Community - My Stamp Out Hunger Donation!

(My Contribution to Stamp Out Hunger May 2010)

During the past week, several coupon bloggers from all over the country have been participating in the event - Couponing for Community. Thanks to Kaley from Cha Ching on a Shoestring for organizing this.

Couponing for Community is a nationwide event promoted by a group of coupon bloggers who recognize that we have the abilities and resources to impact our communities in a BIG way. We have been giving a portion of our stockpile to a homeless shelter, food pantry, or a friend in need during the week of May 2-8!

Tomorrow, May 8,  is the last day for this wonderful event. There is an EASY way to give tomorrow and that is by participating in National Stamp Out Hunger Day. All you have to do is leave your non-perishable items in a bag next to your mailbox. Check with your local Post Office to find out if they are participating!

My Contribution: I will be participating in the Stamp Out Hunger event by donating ALL the items you see in the picture above! Here's what I paid for the following:

11 Boxes of Pasta = FREE
4 BBQ Sauces = FREE
2 Can of Chick Peas = $0.33 each
2 Campbells Soup = FREE
4 Cereal around $0.50 each

Super cheap , right?!? All because of the magic of couponing!!!
